Alicia Oquendo
Lead Dog Walker | Dog Sitter

Ever since she can remember, Alicia has always loved animals. Her experience
with animals is both personal and professional, as the go-to house and pet
sitter for family, friends, and acquaintances. While living in Puerto Rico she
volunteered for nonprofit organizations, such as Save a Sato; over the years she has fostered many rescue animals from dogs and cats, to iguanas and birds. In 2016 Alicia moved to North Carolina, from her home in Puerto Rico. She holds a BS in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico and is currently in school to obtain a degree as a Veterinary Technician. After careers as a Language Instructor; and a Licensed Insurance Adjuster, she decided to shift her focus to her true passion - caring for animals. In early 2022, Alicia joined the Best Life Canine Team as a dog sitter and dog walker. Alicia lives in Winston-Salem with her husband and their dog - Arthur, 2 cats - Binx and Willow, and 2 fish - Ernest and Ethel.
