Anna Freeman
Dog Sitter | Trainer in Training

Anna’s journey began as a client with Andrea upon seeking help with training
her reactive German Shepherd, Jesse. Getting to know and understand him, and his needs as a working dog, has allowed her to love Jesse in life changing ways by creating the structure and communication he desperately needed. Through this extensive work, Anna found a passion for learning more about training and behavior modification. She is currently under a training mentorship with Andrea and looks forward to transitioning to her next career in dog training, in a few years. For now, Anna focuses attention on occasional boarding for Best Life Canine clients as well as partnering with Andrea to offer specialty training programs as part of her mentorship journey. Beyond traditional obedience training and behavior modification, she has found a passion for fitness conditioning for the physical, mental, and emotional health of the dogs. Currently Anna works as a Nurse and with 23+ years of experience in the field, she feels her communication skills enable her to connect with the dog and their pet parent with authentic instincts. Anna lives in Mount Airy, NC with her husband, 2 step daughters, and their 5 dogs.
