Our obedience programs will help you transform your dog's manners and confidence through clear communication. 

 

These programs are for the generally easygoing dog who simply needs better manners and the dog parent who needs to learn how to be a better communicator and confident leader for their dog.

Who this program is for:

Our Obedience Programs are for dogs at least 20 weeks of age, with no behavioral concerns such as fear, anxiety, or reactivity towards humans or dogs. If your dog has behavioral issues, please visit our Behavior Modification Programs.

 

Is your dog under 20 weeks, but over 12 weeks? We may consider building a custom program to handle the foundation puppy skills before beginning your obedience program.

Basic Obedience

Our Basic Obedience Program includes: Come when called, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Place, Heel, Break, Off, Out, greeting manners, impulse control, threshold management, and more.

Advanced Obedience

Our Advanced Obedience Program is for those who want to build off-leash freedom for their dog. We work on advancing the basics by adding more challenges, distractions, duration, and distance. We may add skills like Send away to Place, Through, Recall from 50+ feet, Down and Sit from 50+ feet, and Heeling through busy environments. Off-leash training requires adding a 50 ft long line and e-collar to your training. This equipment will be included in your Advance Program!

 

Not sure you want to do an e-collar? We can work through the program in a similar manner we call "Intermediate" and stick with just a 50 ft long line. However, we will not test off-leash skills at the "intermediate" level due to safety.

Intro Lesson
Stay & Train
starting at $1,200

Our Stay & Train (Day Train) program is a Done-for-You (DFY) styled program. Your dog enjoys working one-on-one with a Trainer to learn obedience skills, both around the home environment, and while adventuring for training field trips. 

The Trainer handles most of the training work for you! During the program you will have several opportunities to learn how to implement your dog's new skills. Including you in the learning process empowers you to maintain the training.

This intensive, DFY program is designed to help extend support to the busy dog parent who simply does not have the time, energy, or skills to tackle this important development on their own or through regular lessons. And one of the best benefits to our Day Train? We come to you! So your dog will get to learn these valuable life skills in their everyday environment. And no need to miss your dog for weeks at a time, since they reside in your home during their training program.

Private Lessons
starting at $650

Our Private Lesson Program is a DIY training solution, offering one-on-one personalized training and support. Your Trainer becomes your training partner, coach, and mentor.

 

This program will begin in the home and transition to training field trips during the course, if goal appropriate.

​

By teaching you and your dog how to learn together, you are involved in every step of their learning process. And have your Trainer to help show you the way.

​

We will demonstrate skills and provide constructive feedback as you practice, so you feel confident with your homework. During the program, we will be available to help you troubleshoot and answer questions to keep the learning moving at the right pace for you and your dog.

Using our step-by-step teaching guides, you will have resources to help you with your practice in between the Trainer led lessons. 

Intro to Training
$225

Our Intro to Training session is a brilliant way to learn solutions for your training needs and goals.

 

This is a working session, about 2-2.5 hours! We will get you started on training activities, trouble-shooting urgent issues, improving handling skills, and more. 

​

The introductory session is a helpful way to begin addressing urgent needs and prepare you for the training changes ahead.

​

Following the Intro session, we will provide you with digital training guides and a general training plan to help you move forward.

​

For some, this professionally guided session might be all they need to resolve a few outstanding questions. If you would like to continue your training journey with us, we are here to help you build the best life for you and your dog!
